Voting and Election Information

Elections are held at the Warsaw Town Hall (3040 County 9 Boulevard, Dennison, MN 55018).

• Register to vote on election day
• Vote early by mail or in person

When are elections?

Federal, State, and City Elections are held in even years every two years.

• Primary Elections are the second Tuesday in August.
• General Elections are on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Township Elections are held annually on the second Tuesday in March. The next Township election will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Warsaw Township Annual Meeting to be held after polls close and ballots are counted. One supervisor seat is up for election. Filing for a seat on Warsaw Township Board of Supervisors is open from Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, through Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.

Candidates for town board must:
• Be eligible to vote in Minnesota
• Not have filed for another office in the upcoming primary or general election
• Be 21 years or more upon assuming office
• Have maintained residence in their district for at least 30 days before the general election

Candidates must file an affidavit of candidacy with the town clerk. Contact the town clerk at warsaw.township.clerk@gmail.com to file an affidavit of candidacy.

In addition to completing an affidavit for candidacy, candidates must pay a $2 filing fee.
