Building Permits

Townships must approve most construction projects.  The goal of this is to give property owners a simple and concise process for compliance with the Warsaw Township Zoning requirements. It is intended to assure effective implementation of the Warsaw Township Zoning Ordinance with clear step by step procedural directions.

Procedures:

1. The applicant will need to complete the township approval (PDF) and bring this form along with building plans, setbacks and permit fees to a Township Meeting for approval.
2. Permit Application will be reviewed by Town board at next Township board meeting. (second Monday, every month, Warsaw Township Hall 6:00pm)
3. Once approved the materials must be submitted to the county along with the County Building Permit Application (PDF).

NOTE: Approval must be obtained from Township prior to any ground work or construction.
